Historical Rent Increase Guidelines

Interest on Last Month’s Rent Deposit

As of February 1, 2007, the guideline is also used to calculate the amount of annual interest that landlords must pay tenants on the last month’s rent deposit. From 1975 to January 31, 2007, the interest rate on deposits was 6.0%.
